The Colrain Poetry Manuscript Conferenceprovides the faculty, connections, and a unique and realistic method of manuscript evaluation in order to set poets with a manuscript-in-process on a path towards publication. Poets will also get a look into the poetry publication world and make important contacts as a result.
In preparation, poets will work on pre-conference assignments and then in workshops with poet/editors Joan Houlihan and Fed Marchant to review, arrange, and winnow their collections based on the pre-conference work. In addition to the manuscript preparation workshops and editor
consultations, there will be evening poetry readings, an editorial panel
Q&A, and after-conference
strategy session.
